In our Friday evening presentation, Vic Tesolin from Lee Valley and Veritas will talk about “Hand and Power – Striking a Balance” a look at adding hand tools to a power tool shop and vice versa in order to be as efficient as possible. The meeting will begin at 7:45 p.m. on Friday, March 2 in 135 Basil Hall on the campus of St. John Fisher College.

Lee Valley will have tools for demonstration (and for members to try) available the following day Saturday March 3, between 9AM and 4PM at CP Rochester, 3399 South Winton Road, Rochester, NY. Members will be able to place orders without paying sales tax and with free shipping.

For this special occasion, Lee Valley, will be bringing and demonstrating their woodworking hand tools including some luthierie (musical instrument making) specialty tools.

Lee Valley is a family-owned business that has been serving users of woodworking and gardening tools since 1978.


Prior to the meeting, we will hold a silent auction where you can sell items that are no longer needed. Please fill out this  Silent Auction Form with the minimum price and incremental bid amount and bring it with your items on Friday, one form per item. The silent auction will begin at 7 p.m. (Note: 10% sellers donation to RWS is appreciated).
