Have you taken advantage of any of our Local Workshops? I just made my first Pepper Mill in Terry Lund’s Pepper Mill class. My wife is thrilled! She can now have chucks of pepper in her food instead of the pepper dust I like.

Coming up on Feb 19th, our own Craig Smith will be regaling us with his methods on how he refurbishes mechanized musical instruments. He is Nationally known for his skills and expertise in this area of woodworking.

What is the safest way to make crosscuts on a tablesaw? …..By using a crosscut sled. If you don’t have one, you need one! So, Why not take the workshop we are offering on Feb 27th. You will walk away with a completed sled and the knowledge on how to fit it to your tablesaw. Dave Gilbert and Joe Lorenzo will provide the instruction and all the materials. Still a couple openings.

For the last National Lecture and Workshop, we have Mike Pekovich. Mike works for Fine Woodworking Magazine and should be a great presentation. One you won’t want to miss.

Then for the last workshop of the year, Bob Couture will be teaching how to Handsaw Joinery. This workshop will take place in early May. How is your Showcase project progressing? Have you started it yet? April 23rd is fast approaching.
