Utah Symposium '02 - Day 3


On day 3, I chose Bonnie Klein doing tops for the first rotation	Bonnie gets some glue blocks ready	She mounts and preps the top for threading	Bonnie explains how and why she cuts the threads the way she does

Bonnie does a mini demonstration on using a chatter tool	It's all pretty easy once you understand how and why	Back to the thread cutting tools for the top	Bonnie finishes up the stem of the top

Both pieces get a quick buffing on the wheel mounted to her lathe	The finished product, a top with an internal compartment	The top assembled	Bonnie makes a mini top to put into the internal compartment of the big top
