On Saturday, March 9th, RWS hosted the Russ Jacobsohn workshop at Woodcraft	We had 15 members attend the workshop	Russ, famous for his Rocking Horses, came prepared to demo virtually every step	We had finished horses, partially complete pieces, and blank stock

Russ does as much as he can with power tools	His belief is "do it once by hand, and then never to it by hand again"	Russ' expertise with a band saw is evident as he quickly gets close to...	his desired rough shape in minutes

Now it's time to do the shaping	Russ admits that many of his shapes have evolved based on the tools available	Any of the interested students got the chance to try out the tools he uses	Again, if it can be done with power tools, it is
